GlosCAN wrote to candidates during the general election asking for their support for our Starting Points and Aims. Replies received were:
“I completely agree with GlosCAN that climate change is a serious issue that needs addressing, and support their work to raise awareness. If I’m re-elected as MP for Gloucester one focus in Parliament will be supporting marine energy and tackling air pollution in the city centre.
On both of these it’s important MPs do help and I look forward to discussing more plans with GlosCAN in future.”
Richard Graham, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Gloucester
“I am very happy to agree that climate change is the issue of our age. I was proud to be part of the paradigmatic Act that was passed. There must be no backtracking on this …”
David Drew, Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Stroud
