Divest your council

Across the UK, local authorities continue to invest around £10 billion in fossil fuels through their pension funds, despite more than 75% of councils declaring a climate emergency.
For full details see UK Divest.
According to Friends of the Earth, Gloucestershire is in the upper half of counties for the amount invested in fossil fuels. The county council administers the pension funds for the district councils as well as for the county, but your district council can help to influence policy.
